One of the best parts of the holidays is being able to sing our favorite Christmas songs together. There is nothing that can replace all being there together on Christmas Eve, but we Maple Sheyenne still want to do what we can to bring our voices together. As such, we invite you to participate in our socially distant sing-along for the holidays!
The first song we are going to try is Oh Come, All Ye Faithful, with music by Donna and Barry. To join your family’s voices to the chorus, just sing along to the music below following these guidelines:
- You will need a way to record your voices. This can be a cell phone, a tablet, or your computer. Either audio-only or audio with video is fine. As long as you are able to record a file and send it to us, whatever you use should be fine.
- The optimal way to record is to play the music from a different device (play on computer, record on phone) so that you can hear the music and stay in time. If possible, it is nice to have headphones to listen, so that the recording captures just your singing and not the music. But just playing the song at low volume while you record will work fine too.
- There are a few variations on this song out there. We are using the version printed below for the sing-along.
- Once you have completed your recording, email it to sing@maplesheyenne.com and we will add your voice(s) to the crowd!
